LERCO's synergistic team is already building a strong competitive advantage in the marketplace

At the first expert meeting of all research programmes on Wednesday 8 November, the LERCO project was presented as one of the strategic projects that supports the transformation of our region. The meeting was divided into two sessions, the first focused on presenting the project towards the professional community, while the second focused on sharing inside the program. The mutual support created the conditions for each member of the project to work to the best of their ability.

Nine research teams in the fields of biomedicine, life sciences and behavioural health, reinforced by excellent scientists and international experts, are to work in the new research centre in Ostrava-Vítkovice. Experts from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science and Pedagogy of the University of Ostrava, the Technical University of Ostrava and doctors from the Ostrava University Hospital will meet here. Connection with the commercial sector will be ensured by cooperation with MSIC - Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre.

The meeting had a unique character, even though these research teams know each other and cooperate in other projects, to meet and establish further cooperation, to create a greater synergy effect, to share research and practical experience proved to be very beneficial.
